(GPS: 36° 1.396 minutes N, 79° 28.689 minutes W). These photographs
were taken on 30 September 2005. In the photograph on the right, the
tombstone was "chalked" to make the stone easier to read.
When found, the top of Catharine's stone was broken off and face down
in the earth. After the photo was taken, the top was leaned against
the base and a letter was written to the cemetery to find out about
having the stone repaired.
The stone reads:
