To the [Justices] of Guilford County court:
The petition of Sarah Albright
Elizabeth C. Ephland, Rebeccah Albright, of full age
Sarah Albright, Daniel Albright, George Albright and
William Albright, minors under the age of twenty one
years.
Humbly petitioning [showth] unto your worship
your Petition Sarah Albright of the county of Guilford
and State afore [said], that her husband Jacob Albrigs [Albright]
late of said county died intestate a few months since
leaving your petitioner [a] widow, and the following [?]
drawn his heir at law - Elizabeth C. Ephland, now
a widow, and Rebeccah Albright, of full age, and
the following children under age, to wit, Sarah Al
bright, David Albright, George Albright and William
Albright, for the last three of whom, your petitioner
and [?] H. [Lindrys ] have been duly appointed
Guardians by the county court.
Your petitioner further [shows] to your
Worship that her Husband Jacob Albright died [?]
and [?] of a large real estate, consisting
of over two thousand acres, [?] of the following
tracts to wit, the home tract on which he lived at
the time of [his] death contains about [4]61 acres.
The [?] Night tract containing about [4]35 acres, a tract
on South Buffalo bought of Dr. David Caldwell, containg [containing]
about 3[4]5 acres, and several parcels [adjoining] on Reedy Fork
bought from Allen Peoples - [?] to Dork, Thomas R. Tate
and Thomas [?] containing about 826 - and
one lot in the Town of Greensborough. Reference to all
the deeds is had for greater certainty ---
