1830 Census Orange County, North Carolina

The 1830 census for Orange County lists among others, the families of Henry Albright (#99) and William Sharp (#49).

Henry Albright (#99)'s family consisted of: seven people: 1 free white male of seventy and under eighty (Henry was age 71), one free white female of sixty and under seventy (Henry's wife: Mary "Polly" Gibbs(#100) was age ~64), one male slave over 24 and under 36, three female slaves under 10 years of age, and one female slave of 10 and under 24 years of age.

William Sharp (#49)'s family consisted of 8 people, all free and white: 1 male of under 5 years of age (could be son Eli ~6), two males of five and under ten (the two were likely sons Jeremiah ~8 and Edwin... age ~10), 1 male of ten and under fifteen (son Henry Albright Sharp (#25) ...age 12), 1 male of thirty and under 40 (William... age 36), two females under five years of age (one was likely daughter Mary Catherine ...age 3 and the other Elizabeth ... age 1), and 1 female of thirty and under 40 (Willliam's wife: Elizabeth "Lizzie" Albright (#50)...age 38). [Note: Elizabeth "Lizzie" Albright was Henry Albright's daughter.]
