I, Alma Colerider, of the City of Washington, in the District of Columbia, being of sound mind and disposing memory do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament and I hereby revoke all former wills, if any, by me made.
1. I desire that my executer hereinafter named shall pay my just debts, including my funeral expenses.
2. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Gertrude Colerider Sharpe, the sum of Twenty Five Dollars and hereby direct my executor hereinafter named to pay the said sum to my daughter, Gertrude Colerider Sharpe, out of my estate.
3. I give, devise and bequeath to my son, Samuel Watkins Colerider, the sum of Twenty Five Dollars and hereby direct my executor hereinafter named to pay the said sum to my son, Samuel Watkins Colerider, out of my estate.
4. I give, devise and bequeath to my daughter, Pearl Colerider Pierce, all the rest and residue of my estate, whether real, personal or mixed, wherever located, in fee simple. My son, Samuel Watkins Colerider, and my daughter, Gertrude Colerider Sharpe, have, during my life time been beneficiaries of my estate to such an extent as to make this devise herein contained ample and adequate and the devise to my daughter, Pearl Colerider Pierce, is in just appreciation of her years of attendance upon me and the further fact that she is dependent for her own support on her own efforts.
5. I hereby appoint my daughter, Pearl Colerider Pierce, the executor of this my last will and testament and direct that she be permitted to administer this will without bond.
Signed, published and declared by the above named testatrix, Alma Colerider, as and for her last will and testament, in the presence of us, who, at her request, and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto signed our names as witnesses thereto.
