(#9) Watson Leach's Will

Below: Written on 26 March 1907, a copy of Watson's will was found among (#5e) Belva Leach Spidel's possessions by her granddaughter (Sharon Hinckley) in August 2022, and sent to the webmaster. (#5) Charles Leach (Watson's son) had sent this copy of Watson's will to Belva (Watson's daughter) on 11 May 1907, the day the will was probated. Below the will is the note Charles had attached to the will.

 

 

Below: Charles stated that the widow [their stepmother Edith] had elected to accept a year's support, which the law would allow, instead of what the will had provided for her. Her choice would not affect their father's wishes as directed in the will for his children.
